Suga Suga Spa Mullins Beach Barbados

When you think of Barbados, words that possibly come to mind are paradise, relaxation, luxury, indulgence etc and you would be right. Barbados is one of those places in the world you wont forget in a hurry.

When staying in Barbados one of the must things you should do is pamper yourself at the Mullins Beach Suga Suga Spa. Upon arrival you will be asked to wait by the relaxing waterfall swimming pool area, which is always well maintained and always well respected by resident members, which is used as a place to relax on very comfortable sun loungers and catch some sun. Then depending on which treatment you have decided to have you will change into a robe that is provided by the spa and be taken to one of the five treatment rooms for the pampering to commence.

Suga Suga Spa performs a variety of treatments such as massages, manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials and body treatments etc. If you are feeling in need of particular relaxation I would suggest an outdoor massage, which is performed by the pool (in a private booth of course) where you can take in the sounds and aromas of Barbados whilst having a wonderfully professional and relaxing massage which will leave you wanting to have outdoor massages all the time, but be careful when you get home your local beauty salon might not offer the same service so definitely worth trying.

The spa uses Elemis products for most of the facial, body and massage treatments. Elemis are considered to be one of the best products on the market and these products are used in over one thousand spas, luxury cruise liners and five star hotels around the world. Designed specifically to combat anti aging and work with your body and skin type to deliver powerful results.

If you really want to enjoy your visit and feel you have got value for money at the same time. A suggestion would be to have not just one treatment i.e. facial or a massage why not try a combination of treatments. This particular one and half hour treatment incorporates a 30 min Elemis Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow full body and brush scrub, 30 min back, neck and shoulder massage and a 30 min Elemis facial. This treatment will not just relax you will be floating out the door once it has finished. (Cost of around £75-£100, depending on the exchange rate.)

Once you have finished your pampering, why not relax by the waterfall pool for the rest of the day and have a delicious lunch or some fruity cocktails at the Spa Pool Café or if you are looking to return to the beach to soak up the sun, then just across the road is the beautiful Mullins Beach which is considered to be one the best beaches in Barbados and often where celebrities such as Cliff Richard, Simon Cowell and Beyonce are seen taking in the Barbados sun.

The cost of the spa is very good value, most treatments are more expensive than what you would pay in the UK however I think when looking at the quality of products used, the professional way the staff perform the treatments and your surroundings, a direct comparison to UK treatments cannot be made. This place comes highly recommended and should be considered a World Class spa and you will not be disappointed with the results. If you do not have spa treatments in the UK and are considering visiting Barbados and want to try pampering yourself then try Suga Suga Spa and you will be delighted with the results.
