This is a safety issue and is done in the guest’s best interest so don’t be disappointed if you spend all of your swim time in the free form, freshwater pool, which although does not compare with the turquoise beauty of the sea, is a great alternative to getting sand in your shoes!
There is a small boutique on the grounds for shopping. You’ll find everything from jewellery to fashion to gifts to souvenirs. The boutique, called Beth and Tracie, is well suited to the style and charm of the hotel resort.
The hotel is happy to accommodate families with small children and offers a rental service for most of the larger items a child would need while on vacation: cribs, high chairs, strollers, and extra beds are available to you at no extra charge. There is no official children’s program at the hotel resort, however, there is a variety of games available in the Guest room and lounge and babysitting is available upon request. Although the guest rooms do not come equipped with internet access, you can purchase a password for wireless internet in your room for a nominal fee.
