Meals are a mixture of buffet and table d’hôte options and feature a comfortable blend of Caribbean and International cuisine. The restaurant does adhere to a semi-formal dress code for diners after 6 p.m. This helps to maintain the exceptional experience of the hotel and restaurant. You’ll dine in style with nightly entertainment – live entertainment, of course. After dinner, you can make your way to the bar and enjoy freshly prepare cocktails and liqueurs until midnight. This isn’t a party resort – it’s reserved for the casual vacationer who expects a certain level of respect.

As with all island resorts in Holetown, Barbados, the Mango Bay Hotel is sometimes falls victim to heavy rains and the beach lagoons are closed for a period of time. This is a safety issue and is done in the guest’s best interest so don’t be disappointed if you spend all of your swim time in the free form, freshwater pool, which although does not compare with the turquoise beauty of the sea, is a great alternative to getting sand in your shoes!
There is a small boutique on the grounds for shopping. You’ll find everything from jewellery to fashion to gifts to souvenirs. The boutique, called Beth and Tracie, is well suited to the style and charm of the hotel resort.
The hotel is happy to accommodate families with small children and offers a rental service for most of the larger items a child would need while on vacation: cribs, high chairs, strollers, and extra beds are available to you at no extra charge. There is no official children’s program at the hotel resort, however, there is a variety of games available in the Guest room and lounge and babysitting is available upon request. Don’t forget the water sports and pool for the kids as well!
Although the guest rooms do not come equipped with internet access, you can purchase a password for wireless internet in your room for a nominal fee. One of the only things you’ll have to pay for while staying on the resort, you may want to decide whether or not you actually need it or want it. You are in paradise, after all.
